Erila Boldrin

This vintage jacket looks like a proud find from an exotic holiday - bright, bold and totally unique, Erila knows noone else will have this look. A smart way to fashion-up a clean shirt dress.

Isabella Bernardi

The shirt dress is THE coolest (both literally and figuratively) way to work tailoring in the summer. She dons a luxe panama and silk neckerchief for an authoritative take on the look.

Gilda Ambrosio

Midis are so hot right now: the elegant lengths are super-flattering and the clean wrap shape of this Missoni number keeps the bold print under control.

Natasha Goldenberg

Natasha has belted her dress in the perfect place to enhance her cute baby bump. Tied on the side, soft and slouchy with a loose, low neckline, this is chic, sexy and cool.

Sara Escudero

Sara is clearly a clever packer: a suitcase full of basics (think denim and grey cotton) can be instantly festival-ised with the lightest of items - a lace kimono from Bershka. Boxfresh white Converse are a perfect choice for this mud-free haven.

Lucia De La Rosa

Mixing light floaty boho layers with a bit of rave is a fun way to cover your genre bases. This Isabel Marant vest and fringed Zara sandals look extra cool with Lucia's bespoke-made Bershka cut-offs.

Claire Marie

This Tiki shirt (American Apparel) adds holiday fun to Claire's evening-appropriate & Other Stories skirt.

Andrea Monroy

The bodysuit is so underrated - this jersey American Apparel number is the coolest way to a sporty, '90s insouciant vibe to a vintage boho midi skirt.

Pacha for River Island is the perfect place to pick up a kimono like this. Emboirdered detailing adds a vintage touch to Kenza's ruffled bandeau bikini.

Linda tops off her Skandi beauty look with this light and fresh, sporty ensemble. A white Cos tee and Adidas Stan Smiths somehow make this vinyl skirt look low-key - well played Linda!

Be sure to pack a kaftan to throw over anything and everything. Patricia shows us how to beach-up her super-simple shorts and tee look with hers and the super clean slides add extra chic.

This poppy-printed number is in fact a playsuit - the holidaying honey's best friend: climb in and off you go. Spartacus sandals from Schutz turn this simple and smart look into a eye-catching ensemble.

A woven fabric in a mish-mash of colour makes the perfect holiday jacket. It will go with numerous colours in your suitcase (notably an azure blue Celine tote) whilst making cut-off shorts look fashion-fabulous.

Distressed vintage denim helps bring this retro printed day dress into the new season. Extra points for shoulder robing on hols too - bringing extra sass as well as Ibiza-appropriate ventilation.

Men's Fashion Week isn't just about the boys... the most stylish women at the shows brought mannish touches to their wardrobes with the deftest of hands. An oversized straw-boater teamed with slouchy wrap dress looked chic whilst a baseball tee added a new-found twist to a printed midi skirt. We hit the Milanese streets for tips.

We also headed to Sonar, Barcelona to see how the chic do festival wear... aside from TWO, yes count 'em, TWO super-luxe Celine bags, the festi-goer's beloved Eastpak bum bag was in sight - in neon no less: we approve. Should you be disatisfied with the selection you brought in your wheelie case (let's face it - no backpacks here!) the Bershka tent on site was there to lend a helping hand, selling denim cut-offs that could be customised on the scene (we loved Lucia's with printed silk detail). Whilst Celine was in sight, trainers were a fail-safe too - proving that mixing sportswear with high-fashion is the way to do casual chic.

In Ibiza meanwhile, there's plenty we can learn from analysing these summer-savvy dressers' looks: a spaghetti-strapped day dress works a treat (espcially with a postcard print for extra seasonal sass); a denim jacket helps toughen it up a little too. A simple white tee is a suitcase saviour and will work with all the shorts, skirts and dresses you can pack (even a mint green vinyl skirt as demonstrated here), so take note! Tailored shorts meanwhile, will help you stay smart whilst traversing sunny cities and you walk them straight out to dinner with a pair of knee-high gladiator sandals.

Repeat after us: kimonos, kimonos, kimonos. These are the key to dressing for the beach and beyond this season. We've seen fringed, floaty and beautifully embellished versions everywhere from Glasto to Sonar and beyond. Wear one over a bikini when returning from a day on the sand or over denim shorts and white tee to add a dash of far-flung destination dressing to the most boyish of city looks.
