We have time travelled back to the 1970s and it looks like that decade style is going to be around for the long hawl. Ater travelling all over the world for fashion month, Spring / Summer 2015 is looking to continue where Autumn Winter 2014 left off with free love flares and platforms.
For Spring/ Summer 2015 the 1970s has been approached by many different angles. We saw Prada showcase an army of colourful psychedelic prints teamed with sophisticated '70s style leather coats in a pallette of browns and then Dries Van Noten wow’ed us with his hippy gushes of rainbow print on print shown on a catwalk of patchwork moss. Why not?
But what about this season - how can you tune into the look right now? Try updating your wardrobe with trenches, colourful fur, printed midi skirts, an earthy colour spectrum and of course flares! One of the biggest trends for AW14 is also the comeback of the knee high boot- Over the knee, under the knee, suede or leather - it’s a vital buy this winter.
