Like father, like son eh? Simon Cowell has taken to this dad thing like a duck to water, and on Friday he uploaded this super cute picture of himself to Twitter with his little boy Eric wearing matching white V-neck T-shirts and pouts. Simon wrote, ‘Looks familiar?’ It certainly does.
As cute as this is, we hope that 11-month-old Eric doesn’t start following his father’s fashion sense in other ways. We’re not sure that a one-year-old in high-waisted flared jeans is the best look…
It’s not the first time that Simon, 55, has uploaded pictures of Eric, who turns the grand old age of one next week, to his Twitter account. In August he posted a picture of the pair of them on holiday wearing matching sunglasses, saying, ‘Taking after daddy.’
In June he posted one of him bathing Eric, adding, ‘Bath time!’ Simon became a father for the first time last year with his girlfriend Lauren Silverman, 37. He has said of Eric, who was named after his late father, ‘I was born to be a dad.’
Last year Simon said that he loved fatherhood so much that he’d like another child. He said, ‘Of course I'd like another child. You have one, and I'd always have another.' He also admitted that he had never changed a nappy. ‘It’s like watching your girlfriend go to the loo,’ he explained. ‘You don’t have to.’ We're not sure that's how it works Simon.
