Calm Down Everyone, Emma Watson Is NOT Dating Prince Harry

Emma Watson has denied that she is dating Prince Harry, thereby denying the world of the best commemorative royal mug since the Diana glory years. Sigh.

Australian magazine Woman's Day sent the rumour mill into orbit last week after claiming that Hazza was 'smitten' with Emma, who he had apparently been secretly dating. According to the report, Harry sent Emma an email inviting her on a date after she split from her boyfriend, Matthew Janney, in December. Is that really how Princes pull girls these days? Unsolicited emails?

Apparently not, because Emma has denied the rumours on Twitter, writing: 'World. Remember that little talk we had about not believing everything written in the media?!' She then added: 'Also..... marrying a Prince not a prerequisite for being a Princess' before including a link to the video below:

Ha! This is in no doubt a reference to the recent announcement that Emma will play Belle in a live-action remake of Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

Remarking about the news on her Facebook page last month, Emma wrote: “I’m finally able to tell you … that I will be playing Belle in Disney’s new live-action ‘Beauty and the Beast’! It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I’ll get to dance to ‘Be Our Guest’ and sing ‘Something There’. My six-year-old self is on the ceiling — heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons. I can’t wait for you to see it. Emma xx.”
