Jessica Ennis's Fashion Evolution
2012 has been British heptathlete Jessica Ennis' year. She won gold in the Olympics in front of a captivated home crowd in London, released her autobiography at the tender age of 26 and came into her own on the red carpet, wearing dresses by some of the UK's top designers. After conquering the world of athletics, what did the BBC Sports Personality of the Year nominee do next? She made her move into fashion of course! Grazia Daily caught up with the Team GB champion on the front row of Mulberry's Spring/ Summer 2013 catwalk presentation where she gushed about the lady behind her little black dress - Victoria Beckham. "I’m wearing another Victoria Beckham dress today! I love her collection and her collection was great at New York Fashion Week. She’s got some amazing pieces so it’s great to be able to wear some of her dresses."
Jessica also wore Victoria Beckham for an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, but the Spice Girl is not the only designer that the sport star has in her wardrobe. In the last few months Ennis has also stepped out in a trio of Alexander McQueen frocks as well as an optical illusion dress by Team GB kit designer Stella McCartney. So has the star ditched her trainers for good? We think not, but it's clear that she's enjoying embracing her feminine side and getting glammed up for special events off the track.
