Leigh Lezark's Fashion Evolution
Leigh Lezark is quickly becoming a major fashion name, rising above the standard ‘It-girl’ label. Not only is she an in demand DJ responsible for spinning records at A-list parties, but the model is a front row fixture too. She’s been snapped FROW-ing at many a top fashion show including Chanel's Autumn Winter 2013 presentation.
She wore a delicate pink Chanel mini-dress to Karl Lagerfeld’s haute couture spectacle, accessorized with a chunky pearl necklace, which complemented the ensemble beautifully. The ladylike look was quite a contrast to the grungy, punk style that has become her trademark.
This season Leigh was also spotted at the Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and Jeremy Scott shows, and she hung out with fashion friends Poppy Delevingne and Alexa Chung at the amFAR benefit gala
When Grazia grabbed a minute with the street chic New Yorker at London fashion week, she told us that she loves London style as it’s the birthplace of punk. Too true!
Leigh’s jet-black hair has always been a tribute to her alternative style, so we were shocked recently when she dyed her locks blonde. Staying true to her roots, she still manages to pull off the edgy/rock look now that she’s a golden girl, wearing a mix of monochrome, prints and leather.
Despite the designer wardrobe, Leigh hand-picked an exclusive selection of pieces at the opening of H&M’s concession store in Selfridges and attended the launch of Anna Dello Russo’s H&M collection in Paris. Not unwilling to wear high street, she explained that given her busy schedule, she can always find something that works in H&M. Don’t we know it.
