House of Holland's Fashion Evolution
Henry Holland became the name on everyone’s lips in 2006 without even having attended Fashion College. His rhyming, slogan t shirts featuring designer’s names ‘UHU, GARETH PUGH’ and ‘GET YER FREAK ON, GILES DEACON’ borrowing the lettering from '80s designer Katherine Hamnet and the neon colours from the ‘nu rave’ trend that was sweeping London at the time.
Since then, he has successfully capitalised on his first impressions on the fashion world, holding catwalk shows at London Fashion Week. House of Holland collections typically have a theme of either '80s or '90s nostalgia – slogan tees, neon tartan or giant polka dots and stonewash jeans have all featured.
His name is eternally joined with his muse and best friend from his home town in Lancashire – model Agyness Deyn, who has often modelled his collections. Henry has collaborated with brands like Kickers, Levis, Pretty Polly tights and has designed a range for Debenhams.
