Elle Fanning's Fashion Evolution
Elle Fanning has a rare gift, and for once we're not talking about her instinctive acting skills. The Hollywood starlet has a skill that many more mature actresses fail to grasp; she knows how to dress appropriately for her age.
At just 14 years old, the Somewhere beauty graces red carpet after red carpet with stunning yet modest ensembles. She’s worked daring shoes shapes, bold hues and clashing print that lesser fashionistas would shy away from and her every day outfits are just as on daring; she’ll quirk up a shirt dress with a pair of Dr Martens and knee high socks, leaving us a green-eyed of her sartorial know-how.
The cute-as-a-button actress followed in her sister’s footsteps and posed up a storm for New York designers Marc Jacobs, and Rodarte as well as working with genius director/style maven Sofia Coppola, all by the tender age of 13. More recently the King of fashion Karl Lagerfield snapped the cool blonde for his Little Black Jacket exhibition, which has to be the highest of all fashion accolades, no?
With Alexa Chung as her style guide, her keen interest in fashion and a firm place on the FROW over the past few seasons, Elle is on her way to becoming the Queen of teen fashion. We’re certain that we haven’t seen all that the youngest Fanning has to offer just yet and we’ll definitely be watching vigilantly as her style develops over the next few years.
