Clemence Poesy's Fashion Evolution
The French actress first came to our attention when she starred as Fleur Delacour in Harry Potter. Then she joined the cast of Gossip Girl as Eva, the girlfriend of the one and only Chuck Bass, and our radar started bleeping.
Her style is oh-so French — impossibly effortless and utterly chic. Clemence always reaches the top of best dressed lists when she walks the red carpet (usually in Chanel), but it's her off-duty style which we adore. She nails the 'oh this old thing? I just found it on my floor' look - she once wore a mens blue shirt, navy blazer and bowler hat to sit on the front row at Chanel. It's all about a trench n' trilby for Ms Poesy.
She is one of Karl Lagerfeld's leading ladies, so she is often seen with a Chanel 2.55 swinging from her arm and a Chanel tweed slung over her shoulders. This means that she has a guarenteed front row ticket to every Chanel show, bien sur. She is a veteran FROW-er and is a regular attendee at Paris and London Fashion Weeks, watching Burberry, Chanel, Chloé and Mulberry.
It's hardly surprising that the it girl has bagged some major ad campaigns, as she was the face of G-Star RAW’s Spring/Summer 2012 ad campaign. The blonde beauty was shot in Lisbon by photographer and filmmaker, Anton Corbijn, and the result is a collection of black-and-white images that ooze a fierce rock 'n' roll edge.
She was also the face of Chloé's perfume alongside Chloë Sevigny and the model Anja Rubik and at the time V Magazine declared the trio as the 'three iconic girls of the moment.' Beauty wise she keeps it oh-so simple as she wears her blonde locks loose and tucked behind her ears and wears minimal make up.
Ms. Posey may be Paris personified, but she also LOVES London! She told Grazia Daily that her favourite place to go vintage shopping in Europe is London and did you know, she used to live in uber trendy Dalston.
