Zoë Kravitz has now added another role to her CV - jewellery designer. As the 24-year-old actress has collab'd with Swarovski Crystallized on a capsule collection. WWD reports that she is designing a nine-piece collection of bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings which use her birthstones, turquoise and tanzanite.
She is a front row regular and is known for her flawless hipster style (and of course is an expert at accessorising) so it makes perfect sense that she would try her hand at designing. 'I wanted it to feel organic and fun,' Zoe told WWD. 'Something that would allow each person to make it their own.'
So what was her inspiration behind the blue and silver collection? Well apparently she was inspired by all of her travels as she said: 'I was inspired by places I want to travel such as India and Morocco... Those countries have such vivid landscapes so I wanted to pull in color from there.' We wonder if Penn Badgley gave her any help with the design process.
Zoe has had a glittering modelling career as she was starred in campaigns for Vera Wang and Alexander Wang. So who better to model her own jewellery line? Yep, Ms Kravitz is not only the designer, but also the face of the campaign shot by Guy Aroch.
So she likes blue stones, we know that, but she also reveals to WWD: 'Sometimes there is beauty in simplicity and sometimes it’s fun to pile it all on.' In the campaign shot Zoe wears a simple black vest and black leather mini with her turquoise necklaces piled on. Good news is you can buy the pieces in Swarovski Crystallized stores in London as well as New York and Austria and online.
