One of the starriest highlights of London Fashion Week last season was the The Woolmark Prize, which brought together four female fashion powerhouses on a glamorous judging panel.

The ladies in question, Diane Von Furstenberg, Donatella Versace, Victoria Beckham and Franca Sozzani (Editor of Vogue Italia) were in the difficult position of selecting a prize-winner from six finalists who presented six catwalk looks to prove their skills with wool. The ultimate victor was Dutch designer Christian Wijnants whose dip dyed, heavy gauge knit dresses combined a bohemian West Coast vibe with FROW-worthy stand-out appeal.

Wijnants prize was the chance to have his collection stocked in leading fashion boutiques including Harvey Nichols in London and Berdorf Goodman in New York. His highly anticipated capsule collection launches at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge today where it takes centre stage in the Fourth Floor pop-up space. Comprising of six looks, the pieces include shibori-dyed sculptural knits, circular knit cocoon coats and fine knit Merino dresses.
The range already has a firm fan in VB, who told us back in February: "What I think is really great about Christian is that technically he is really good and there is a strong fashion message there. But it is also very wearable. I think it could really sell. He ticked all of the boxes we were looking for, he really did."
