Fashion may have changed drastically since the early 1980s, but there's no doubt that the Duchess of Cambridge's maternity style will be publicly scrutinised as much as Princess Diana's was during her pregnancies. There’s plenty that Kate, who yesterday announced that she was expecting her first child, can learn from the mother of her husband William about dressing a bump. Last week the DoC unveiled a brand new retro Diana-like fringe dubbed the 'Invisible' which served as a brilliant distraction from rumours of the royal couple's imminent announcement. Now that the news is out in the open we wonder whether Kate will go for the 'Bump and Cover' - using a designer handbag to cover her bump like Fearne Cotton and Coleen Rooney - or proudly display her growing belly like glowing model mother Gisele Bundchen.
