London Collections: Men have drawn in some famous faces, from Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood who was spotted with his wife Sally Humphries at the Topman design shows to Benedict Cumberbatch who swung by the Bally presentation, with fellow Brit actor Dominic Cooper.
Grimmers and Henry Holland have been fashion BFFS this week as they have been spotted at several shows together and they even rocked a matchy matchy style, in identikit geek glasses. Well it is the hipster staple. We were hoping to see our fave Burberry model running around the shows in a shiny trench, but sadly Romeo Beckham wasn't spotted at the Burbs Breakfast party. Nope it was just Tinie Tempah and Harry Treadaway.
The Prime Minister rounded up fashion's finest for a reception at Number 10 where he opened up about his own fashion and said Sam Cam is the one who dresses him. "I know so little about fashion that the two things I have been on the fashion pages for are not wearing socks with black shoes whilst on holiday - sorry about that one - and attending a banquet at the Guildhall, where in full white tie inexplicably my shirt separated, and there was a rather embarrassing picture," he said.
The PM said: "When I go shopping my wife doesn't allow me to look around the store at all. I am put in a changing room and things are passed to me like you would pass food to a prisoner." He also told his guests he was wearing M&S pants, erm, too much information Dave?
Tinie Tempah wore a shiny suit to FROW at the Lee Roach show, which was cut just above his ankle (the mankle is a big trend for SS 13 don't ya know). While model David Gandy was spotted rocking a brown fedora which matched his brown tie perfectly.
But it wasn't all boys, as the most unlikely FROW appearance at the men's shows has to be Olympic cyclist Victoria Pendleton who was at the Lou Dalton show and then went to the Tommy Hilfiger party. Since winning her Olympic gold she has announced her retirement from cycling and desire to pursue a career in fashion. She's certainly doing well at bulking out her fashion CV as she sat front row in Burbs at LFW and has worn a handful of divine gowns from the likes of Stella. She's clearly warming up for her marathon LFW appearances (well, we are assume she'll be there, she has caught the FROW bug) by popping into the men's collections.
