We imagine there are going to be a few hungover heads this morning following Kate Moss’ raucous book launch last night. From Cara Delevingne to Liberty Ross anyone who is anyone was there and boy did they party up a storm.
Florence Welch was one of the first to arrive at the event which was held at 50 St.James Street Mayfair, heading straight to the dance floor to cut some serious shapes in her amazing Marc Jacobs dress she told us, ‘I feel like a 60s film star.’ She looked like one too. And who can blame her for wanting to have a bit of a dance with none other than Kate’s BFF Nick Grimshaw in the DJ booth.
Later in the evening Noel Gallagher, Sir Phillip Green, Stella McCartney and hairdresser James Brown were all spotted partying the night away. Of course, Kate didn’t let the side down herself, in an amazing gold gown we spied her running from guest to guest making sure everyone had an amazing time.
Literally the hostest with the mostest, Mossy even had her own cocktail made for the evening – the Kate 76, which contained Ciroc Vodka, Veuve Clicquot Champagne, lemon juice and sugar. She looked utterly resplendent swathed in a gold Marc Jacobs gown from her designer pal's Spring Summer 2010 collection.
It was a busy day for Kate yesterday as shortly before the party she held a signing at Marc Jacobs store Bookmarc. The book itself is a retrospective of her career which was curated by Kate, her ex Jefferson Hack, Fabien Baron and Jess Hallett with absolutely loads of amazing pictures of the model throughout her career. We want one for our own coffee table. Now.
