Incase you were unaware, there's a teensy tiny wedding that happened this weekend. Yup - Kim Kardashian and Kanye West tied the knot in Florence yesterday and the world's gone krrrrazy about it. (If you somehow managed to miss anything, we've got a pretty snazzy live blog of the wedding festivities).

But as much as Instagram may have made us all feel like we were almost present at what's shaping out to be the wedding of the our generation (soz Kate and Wills), the fact of the matter is... well, okay fine, we weren't actually there. Mr. Andre Leon Talley however, was, and he kept a handy diary of an insiders experience of KimYe Fest. Here's our roundup of 10 new things we've learned about #theworldsmosttalkedaboutcouple...
1. Paparazzi really don't leave them alone
Khloe Kardashian told Andre Leon Talley that 30 photographers followed them all the way from Paris to Valentino Garavani’s Château de Wideville where pre-wedding celebrations were taking place. Oh, and a helicopter hummed over head throughout the entire time they were there. (Find out more about the wedding lunch).
2. Valentino gave a tear-jerking speech
“I would love to toast these two beautiful people here before me,” Valentino said at the end of the lunch. "And I also want to thank Kris Jenner for having these beautiful girls. These girls make my dining room even more beautiful.” He then went on to toast Kim and Kanye in Italian: “I wish you much success, a lot of love, and a long life.”
3. Valentino's dining room is (as expected) divine
Valentino's dining room is full of rare treasures and beautiful things including a rare white porcelain Meissen chandelier, seventeenth-century Russian wine vessels and Fabergé silver-tipped wine decanters with intricate crystal handles. Leon Talley describes his favourite as a lifetime collection of Meissen swans 'that seemed to float on a lake of embroidered white linen'.

4. North can SPEAK
"I heard her say 'Pa,' looking for her father," said Leon Talley. Guess she's a daddy's girl! Aaahh our uterus' ache.
5. The food was deeelicious
“I love people who love food. When people don’t love food, they make me nervous,” toasted host Valentino. A man after our own heart! It should come as little surprise, then, that the food was a deliciously concoted three course extravagance consisting of artichoke hearts salad and poached eggs with hollandaise, followed by baked sea bass with zucchini sliced to simulate fish scales, a mix of vegetable tempura and a saffron risotto Milanese. Yum.
6. North loves vegetable tempura
Ahh what an adorable image! Leon Talley describes baby North attempting to chew on a slim carrot slice of vegetable tempura with her newly coming in baby teeth.
7. The wedding cake was sugar-free
KimYe's wedding cake, which said “Kanye and Kim” with arrows and hearts was sugar-free! "It's my dietetic cake" said Valentino, of the green apple and strawberry cake which was made with Xyla as a subsitute for sugar.

8. None of the guests knew where they were going
Seems it wasn't just the wider world that were kept in the dark about the wedding festivities, guests reportedly didn't have a clue where they were heading, either! Following the lunch, guests were piled into cars with their own personal security and chauffers to get dressed for a 6:00 p.m. departure from Paris to an unknown destination. Ever the private one, Kanye said only “I don’t know what you are talking about?” when asked where they were going or what was about to happen.
9. Film crews were present
Well Kim K herself did say everything leading up to and after the wedding would be captured for Keeping Up With The Kardashians (although not the wedding itself - boo!). ALT reports photographers and film crews swarming around the proceedings.
10. They talked Pilates
Valentino, matriarch Kris and bride-to-be Kim reportedly spent a big chunk of the lunch talking about one of their shared passions - Pilates. Valentino revealed he does it every day with trainers in New York, London, and Paris; Kris was questioning and seeking advice on where to put her new Pilates equipment at home and Kim revealed how she discovered Pilates during her pregnancy with North.
