Inside WGSN Global Fashion Awards: Christopher Bailey & Topshop Scoop Top Prizes

The 4th annual WGSN Global Fashion Awards took place at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum last night, recognising achievements in fashion and retail design on an international scale. The likes of Christian Louboutin, Topshop, Sophie Hulme and Victoria Beckham were up for awards and top-notch presenters included Amber Le Bon, Gwendoline Christie and Leah Wood.

So who won the gongs? Gorgeously glossy host Cat Deeley dished out the gongs with the most coveted Hall of Fame Award going to Christopher Bailey thanks to his outstanding contribution to the fashion industry. Erdem Moral?o?lu scooped Womenswear of the Year Award while Nicholas Kirkwood was named Accessories Designer of the Year and retailers & Other Stories, Net-A-Porter and The Outnet also took home honours.

The winners were chosen by a judging panel including Livia Firth, Giles Deacon and Laura Bailey as well as the designer of the GFA 2012 award, Lily Kamper and renowned photographer Rankin who won the 2012 Hall of Fame accolade. See the full list below...
