Watch Daphne Guinness’s Music Video For 'Fatal Flaw' Directed By Nick Knight

Many music makers have tried their hand at fashion design, from Victoria Beckham to Gwen Stefani, but now one of the world's biggest style influencers, Daphne Guinness, is releasing her debut single. Guinness, a friend of the late designer Alexander McQueen, is renowned for her love of Couture. Her taste is so revered that last year she auctioned off pieces from her wardrobe for a whopping £476,800, with super fan Lady Gaga putting in a few bids.

Alongside her role as fashion industry muse, Guinness has produced a collection with M.A.C and acted in a series of short films. It comes as little surprise that for her first music video, directed by SHOWstudio.com's Nick Knight and edited by filmmaker Marie Schuller, the fashion maven takes centre stage. Featuring Daphne wearing a top hat and various feathery ensembles against trippy, screen-saver style backgrounds, the promo is the perfect complement to the star's growly tone on 'Fatal Flaw'. The heiress revealed, "This song came from broken bonds, fragmented dreams. In part, it's about the sheer randomness of love and its illusionary effect."

The single is available to download via SHOWstudio.com from June 20, but for now you can watch the video below and see material from four of our other favourite fashion icons-turned-musical divas...

1. Daphne Guinness - 'Fatal Flaw'

2. Karen Elson - 'The Truth Is The Dirt'

Model Karen Elson wrote her debut album in secret without letting her then husband, White Stripes frontman Jack White, hear what she was up to. He produced the record 'The Ghost Who Walks', which was released in 2010.

3. Five O'Clock Heroes feat. Agyness Deyn - 'Who'

Before she turned to acting, Agy teamed up with the Five O'Clock Heroes for this little ditty.

4. Naomi Campbell - 'Love and Tears'

We sometimes forget that Naomi released a whole album titled 'babywoman', named after designer Rifat Ozbek's nickname for her. She wrote a novel too making her an official triple threat.

5. Primal Scream featuring Kate Moss - 'Some Velvet Morning'

She's never produced any solo material, but La Moss can be found on YouTube singing alongside Primal Scream, as well as her ex Pete Doherty.
