Coco Rocha rocking out to 'I Wanna' in COCO + CAVALLI
Grazia Daily has just been treated to a teaser of The Hunger Magazine’s fourth issue and we wanted to share it with you lovely lot because it's really rather special. In celebration of the ‘Girls Girls Girls’ issue, the mag has dropped off an absolutely awesome video featuring Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha in 'a Roberto Cavalli fashion film with a music twist' shot by the magazine’s Editor in Chief, Rankin. You may have heard of him?
Coco, who's a mentor on 'The Face', sings I Wanna wearing head-to-toe Roberto Cavalli looks while hair shaking, high kicking and generally shimmying in a fabulous way to the guitarsy tune written just for her. And our verdict? What a talented lady she is! You might remember she's already proved her Irish-dancing skills at Jean Paul Gaultier's Scottish Highlands-inspired show back in 2007, when she Irish danced down the runway.
Coco Rocha in COCO + CAVALLI
Of course, Coco’s multitasking performance in COCO + CAVALLI isn’t the first model to exercise her vocal chords in a fashion film of late. Rocha is in the singing footsteps of Kate Bosworth who modelled for Topshop’s hugely secretive Christmas campaign and more recently Cara Delevingne who worked her singing chops for Katie Grand’s GANG by Hogan collection.
All we need next is the models taking the pictures and styling too, then they’ll have the whole business sewn right up!
