Last week we unveiled Cara Delevingne's latest modelling gig, Mulberry's Autumn Winter 2013 campaign. Fashion photographer Tim Walker, who is known for his fantastical imagery, masterminded the ad, alongside his long-time collaborators set designer Shona Heath and director Ronnie Cooke Newhouse. It was shot on location at Shotover House in Oxfordshire where a wild and romantic woodland was created inside the manor house setting.
As well as a parliament of owls (aka a bunch of owls), the fairytale scene was complete with flower-tipped branches, dark wooden flooring and opulent antique furniture. Cooke Newhouse described the concept as, "An imaginative tableau of Cara Delevingne and her very lively woodland owl friends… Served up very English, very beautiful, and very, very cool." Indeed!
Now the rich snapshots have been brought to life with a 36-second video showcasing Mulberry's accessories including the Willow, the new Primrose and the iconic Bayswater. The must-have bags share the screen with Cara, who remains the most static we've ever seen her, as well as the birds. It's great to finally see how they interacted with the model during the shoot, as it is difficult to gauge from a photograph.
Cara told Grazia: "I love working with animals and especially owls. The best moments were when all the owls kept poo-ing on me - there was a real problem with poo on this shoot!"
