Exciting news of the day: the glitzy Victoria's Secret bandwagon is heading across the pond and hitting our shores! Yes, the sparkling shebang is set to take place at Earls Court in November and we're prepping our wings already. It was Adriana Lima and Candice Swanepoel who revealed the details during a special event at the brand's New Bond Street store this morning and - quelle surprise - the Angels are devastatingly ravishing in the flesh. Adriana showcased her curves in a red form-fitting number by Matthew Williamson - 'I've always been a fan of his' - while Candice opted for a white frock by Roland Mouret because 'his stuff always fits me perfectly'. Indeed it does! We took a seat alongside the pair in the personal shopping area of the store and up-close, their glossiness is literally mesmirising. They're also a super-sweet double act and together they chatted to us about everything from fan-girling to that cheeky Brit spirit, as well as plans for this year's show...
GD: We're so excited about the show coming to London! What are you most excited for?
Adriana: As everybody knows, London is the centre of fashion in the world. I could not think of a better place than here to hold the fashion show.
Candice: Victoria’s Secret has become such an international brand, and the show has been in Cannes before, we’ve done it in Los Angeles, Miami, and the last couple of years in New York, and I think it’s just natural for us to come to London. I'm most excited about it being a much bigger event - there will be 2500 people there and we’re used to 1000 - and it's a black tie event so the audience gets to really dress up and enjoy the event as well.
GD: Are there any British celebrities you would like to see at the show?
Adriana: There is a bunch that we’d like to invite! I would like to see Elton John because I have a huge crush. I really love him! And we would like to invite Prince Harry.
Candice: If he’d love to come, he can have a front row seat!
GD: Excellent choice. And how about the performers? We've heard rumours about One Direction...
Candice: Awh, they’re so cute! I get so emotional when I'm on a plane and I was watching their documentary on the way over here and I was in bits! I was like one of those little teenage girls screaming, like ‘ahhhh!’.

GD: We hear ya! Have you fan-girled over any of the acts who've already performed?
Candice: I think a lot of the girls would say Rihanna. She's really sexy and confident but at the same time humble.
Adriana: For me, Justin Timberlake was amazing, especially when he sang, 'I'm bringing sexy back' [giggles].
GD: So more hot men please! Last year, we saw the British Invasion - did that prompt talks to come to London?
Adriana: Yes, it was a great part of the show so it was already part of the conversation and a natural progression. They’ve been wanting to bring it here for a few years.
GD: There's already a British presence among the Angels thanks to Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne - would you say their Brit attitude makes them stand out?
Candice: The British girls have quite a naughty way of carrying themselves. I’ve seen Jordan and Cara dancing together and they’re fun to watch. Definitley cheeky!

Adriana: They do have a different style for sure, but we're all creating the same energy because everyone gets the chance to show their own personality on the runway.
GD: It’s a lot colder here so will your body prep be any different this year?
Candice: We’re still wearing lingerie on the runway so for me, it’s no different. A couple of weeks before the show, we really amp up the work outs and sometimes when it’s cold, it’s a little harder to get motivated. That’s the only difference for me.
Part two of our interview lands tomorrow. In the meantime, see the highlights of last year's show in the gallery below...
