Victoria Beckham Hides From New York Fashion Week In Her Bag: The Internet Reacts

11 February 2013 by

Victoria Beckham is back in the states for New York Fashion Week and the combination of jet lag and pre-show stress seem to be getting the best of her. Posh tweeted saying she was feeling a ‘little delirious’ as it all got a bit too much and she found herself burying her head in her £2000 handbag. The fashion-week inspired madness has sparked a selection of spoof pictures and we’ve collected the best of the bunch from around the twitter-sphere for you to enjoy.

Lampshade Bag

Miquita Oliver, Nick Grimshaw and Lily Allen were caught messing around backstage at the BAFTA’s last night, Miquita (@miquitaoliver) tweeted this picture of Nick Grimshaw working the lampshade look, captioned "Marcjacobs 2016 a/w collection".

Rockstar Bag

Ronnie Wood @RonaldDavidWood also mimicked Victoria Beckham’s tweet whilst soaking up the Caribbean sun, he said "It's that time in the sun when we all get a little delirious ~#goodluckVB @victoriabeckham #NYFW"

Budget Bags

Victoria’s pic has also sparked some money saving tips, Guy Harris @voiceoverman tweeted ‘Now I'm a big fan of the Beckhams but £2k for a bag?’ He then posted a selection of tweets using Ikea and B&Q’s finest to re-create the ‘bag-on-head’ trend, saying ‘‘Come on @victoriabeckham I think you need to take me on as a designer? I'll save you a small fortune. Lets talk?"

Aldi Bag

Beverly Macca (@BeverlyMacca1) also got in on the action, saying she just couldn’t get over the similarities between Victoria’s luxury lifestyle and her own as she tweeted "@victoriabeckham Gettin spooky now how our lives n looks mirror! I was delirious this season 2 involving a bag! Bm x"

Last Year's Bag

It's not even the first time Victoria herself's resorted to hiding under a bag, as this picture from September's Fashion Week proves!
