Topshop Unique brought school girl sass to London Fashion Week with a collection inspired by English heritage last Sunday afternoon. With the likes of Jourdan Dunn and Sam Rollinson on the runway and Kate Moss, Kendall Jenner and Anna Wintour on the front row, the show was nothing short of a fashion extravaganza, but what goes into preparing the big event? Topshop's Senior Fashion Writer Karla Evans gives us the inside scoop...

Grazia Daily: How long did it take to prepare the show?
Karla Evans: We started brainstorming as soon as Spring Summer 2014 was over, but by January it was all hands on deck, content planning and devising our social strategy.

Grazia Daily: What were the biggest challenges?
Karla Evans: Giving the show a unique spin. We showed it in virtual reality at our Oxford Circus store and used 360-degree cameras for the online experience.

Grazia Daily: What were you most excited about?
Karla Evans: Working in Tate's incredible Turbine Hall. I'm a huge fan of the gallery so it was a real privilege to be working in such an iconic space.

Grazia Daily: You had some major stars there - how did you manage the mania?
Karla Evans: We have an amazingly talented press team who co-ordinate the VIPs effortlessly. It was my job to get our film crew to interview them.

Grazia Daily: How did you decide what to wear?
Karla Evans: We're constantly running around on show day so it's all about comfort and simplicity. I went for all black in a polo neck, PVC skirt and boots.

Grazia Daily: What was your highlight from the day?
Karla Evans: Getting such incredible feedback instantly from all our loyal fans and friends both on Twitter and on Instagram.

Grazia Daily: How did you celebrate afterwards?
Karla Evans: Champagne, of course!

Grazia Daily: What have you learned from this season that you can take into next?
Karla Evans: There's only so much planning you can do! The beauty of London Fashion Week is the spontaneity which naturally produces captivating moments to share.
