Sound the breaking news klaxon! H&M has just announced that the star of the Christmas campaign is... LADY GAGA! Not only that, but the star will be joined by her new bestie, Tony Bennett.
To make the most of the duo's singing credentials, the TV campaign (due to hit our screens in November) will feature the duo performing a track from their new album. How fabulous! 'Cheek to Cheek' is released on 23rd September and is a collaboration between Gaga and Tony in celebration of jazz music, so that gives us a hint at what's to come...
As H&M notes, Gaga makes the perfect choice for the jazzy campaign considering she 'bridges the worlds of music and fashion in everything she does'. And let's not forget, the songstress officially opened H&M’s Times Square flagship store in New York last year when fans queued for HOURS for the chance to meet and shop with Mother Monster. As for Tony Bennett, he's in his 7th decade as a world-class performer and did we mention he's the owner of no less than SEVENTEEN Grammy awards? Yep.

This is certainly welcome news considering it's been rather quiet on the Gagaloo front of late. Of course, she's continued to trot out many a wacktacular ensemble as she continues her artRAVE: ARTPOP Ball Tour, proving that she's still got the fashion X Factor.
But, we have to say, this is quite an unexpected choice, no? While Tony's best known for his crooning (rather than his style credentials), Gaga's wardrobe is utterly bonkers as opposed to the minimalist and accessible aesthetic that the high-street brand is famous for.
