Karl Lagerfeld may have popped up in Paris yesterday for Chanel's couture show but the designer’s latest incarnation is still whizzing around the world. The plastic 26cm-high doll created by Tokidoki, the Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand, has been on a global tour to celebrate the launch of the new Tokidoki x Karl collection, which lands this week.
Thanks to the exclusive holiday snaps we shared yesterday, we've seen the Kaiser has been seen larking through the streets of Moscow and surfing rad waves in Sydney - and today, you can see him in action via the just-landed video above. But, most excitingly, Tokidoki Karl made time to visit our very own Grazia HQ.
Monsieur Lagerfeld caused hysteria around these parts when he joined Grazia's morning conference and lent us a hand in the fashion cupboard. With his beloved cat, Choupette, cradled in his arms, Tokidoki Karl also put his feet up on the beauty team's pink throne and perused our extensive collection of nail varnishes. We gave our not-so-chic kitchen a quick spruce up before he passed by for an inspection and, of course, he was never far from the Diet Coke machine.
Four different versions of the cartoon-style figure are available on Net-A-Porter.com NOW and are sure to become modern collectables within minutes. You can join in on the fun by simply snapping your scene and sharing your location on Instagram using the hashtag #KarlYourWorld @netaporter and @grazia_live, then Toki will magically appear in your chosen location!
