3 Easy Peasy Ways To Wear Double Denim Like Rihanna, Miranda Kerr And Zoe Saldana

When it comes to fashion minefields double denim sits in the very epicentre of the danger zone. It’s the trend that causes high alert panic amongst us all because of its many icky and unfortunate connotations. Bewitched, that matchy his'n'hers ensemble from Britney and Justin for the 2001 MTV Awards, naff country and western singers… the pairing up of denim has been a long and steady favourite whether in the wrong or gith hands over the years, but the past few seasons has seen the humble fabric become a major fashion thing.

It’s the key fabric on Miu Miu’s spring summer runway, designer denim has never had such a strong hold on retail and Mary Katrantzou (she of the couture-like status) has even paired up with Current/Elliot to transfer her prints onto a denim collection. While it may need to be approached with caution, once you crack the denim-on-denim code it’s a really easy way to pep up your casual wardrobe.
