1. Claire Barrow

This Westminster fashion graduate made her debut at Fashion East during September’s London Fashion Week and immediately shot to the top of ‘names to know’ lists. Her punky custom made leathers generated rave reviews while heavily distressed denims and left-field illustrative motifs added a serious dose of East End cool.

2. Each x Other

This brand new Parisian label calls on an international cast of filmmakers, musicians, stylists, actors and artists to create limited edition designs each season that work for both men and women. Androgynous, creative and seriously cool – we’ll be keeping tabs on Each x Other in the months to come.

3. Eudon Choi

Korean born Choi trained initially as a menswear designer in Seoul before he landed in London and enrolled in the RCA’s MA Womenswear course. Setting up his eponymous label in 2009 his LFW debut in February put him on our radar. But it was his S/S 2013 collection that really pushed out style buttons.

4. Micheal Nelson

Nelson launched his handbag collection in 2012 with the aim of creating luxury handbags which incorporate traditional artisan techniques from around the work. Working with a fair trade cooperative of women outside the Kenyan capital of Nairobi to create the intricate handles, the bags are then assembled in NYC with Italian leather. Talk about global traveller chic!

5. Math Collective

London born designer Shahzad Mohayudin originally studied as a graphic designer which might explain his geometric based designs. Showing his debut collection at Vauxhall Fashion Scout for A/W 2012, his line was picked up by this season and has sent the blog-o-sphere alight. Definitely one to watch for 2013.

6. Sophia Webster

Racking up a host of stockists in her debut season, Nicholas Kirkwood’s protégée Sophia Webster has been wowing the fash pack with her Resort 2013 and S/S 2013 collections. Her USP? Unashamedly jazzy heels in bold brights with 80s Memphis feel.

7. Vika Gazinskaya

Part of the Russian Blogger Mob, Vika is BFFs with Miroslava Duma, Ulyana Sergeenko and Elena Perminova aka the Czarinas of Style. She is also a serious fashion designer whose collection has been picked up by Net-a-Porter for 2013. Expect to see a collection of bold printed dresses complete with striking silhouettes which are sure to send the street snappers wild.
