They came, they wore platforms and catsuits and they captured the imagination of a generation of women. Last night five grown up and glamorous Spice Girls took to the red carpet for the opening performance of Viva Forever! which was penned in their honour and celebrates two decades of Girl Power. Appearing almost unrecognisable from the fresh faced girls with attitude who pinched Prince Charles' bum and conquered the world of pop with their infectious giggles and catchy tunes, Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham inspired us to take a trip down memory lane into the Spice Girls archive. The MTV Movie Awards, 1997 (above): We're not sure it's possible for five girls to wear more PVC. Those outfits may be tight but the Spice Girls are professionals and even VB managed to crack a smile on the red carpet. Perhaps she'd just clocked Mel B's hair horns.
