While there may be plenty of deals being done at Cannes Film Festival, we all know its all about the window dressing aka, the Cannes red carpet of dreams. Offering some of the most mega fashion moments of the year, Cannes is one of the most romantic settings for designers to showcase their wares on the world’s most glamorous A-listers.
This year was no exception with a plethora of beauties dressed in fashion's most exalted brands. We had everything from Kristen Stewart in a Chanel embellished nude jumpsuit paired with sneakers to Blake Lively stepping out in a list of incredible designs including Gucci and Giambattista Valli couture. Below we highlight the five women who rocked the Cannes tapis rouge….
1. Chloe Moretz
We always love to see one of our favourite young actresses step up to the big leagues and Chloe’s new film Clouds of Sils Maria alongside Kristen Stewart and Juliette Binoche will prove her chops beyond teen stardom. For Cannes her wardrobe matched her career ascension with an endless supply of Chanel ensembles from a frothy feathered gown to an adorable monchrome suit topped with a boater. Tres Jolie!

2. Blake Lively
There is always one belle of the Cannes ball and this year that award landed squarely at Blake's feet. From her majestic black and white showstopper (arguably the gown of the year) to her sultry claret coloured gown (both by Gucci Premiere) Blake captivated the cameras. Having Ryan Reynolds as her plus one didn't harm her look either!

3. Rosie Huntington Whiteley
The Devonshire beauty rarely puts a toe wrong style-wise and Cannes was no exception. With a body like Rosie's you could wear a binbag and look gorgeous, but she more than gilded the lily with a selection of looks by Emilio Pucci, Gucci Premiere and Cushnie et Ochs. This year cut out detailing and unusual cuts made her gowns stand out from the rest of the red carpet crowd.

4. Sofia Coppola
As a member of the Cannes jury Sofia Coppola has plenty of opportunities to shine in front of the cameras, but she did it in her own inimitable way. Low key and simple, Sofia was working normcore before anyone else had even heard of it. From Marc Jacobs to Valentino, Sofia was the picture of fashion savvy elegance.

5. Suki Waterhouse
Ok, so its another Brit beauty, but call us biased or not, there's no doubt that Suki Waterhouse knocked it out of the park at Cannes. Experimenting with British brands like Peter Pilotto as well as sticking with French uber labels including Christian Dior, Suki brought a touch of British quirk to La Croisette.
