When it comes to It-Buys from the S/S 2014 collections, there's no beating Miuccia Prada’s portrait of a lady coats. In a collection of blockbusting looks, it was this multi-coloured furry number that truly captured the style pack’s attention. Making an emboldened feminist statement through her art inspired line, Mrs Prada struck fashion gold with what was arguably the collection of the season.

So it should be little surprise that the Queen Bee of international fashion, US Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour, chose to step out in the sizzling hot look before any other FROW-er got the chance to wear it. Anna’s appearance in said coat at the premiere of the third season of HBO’s Girls also offers yet another indication that the show’s writer and protagonist Lena Dunham is set to grace the cover of her fashion bible.

While Anna might be the first, there will doubtless be a long queue of fashion insiders who will be working Prada’s coats into their wardrobes. Indeed Marc Jacobs marginally pipped Anna to the post by wearing another coat from the collection (with an iconic rainbow motif) and we can certainly imagine Anna Dello Russo and Giovanna Battaglia teeing up a few looks from the show for their fashion week closets.

So how much do you love the coat and who would you love to see working the Prada dream? Anna W added a scarf and teamed it with a longer line skirt, but would you prefer to see it next time around worn sans accoutrements? Let us know your thoughts below or on Grazia UK’s Facebook page...
