Everyone is sick of the cold weather by now, right? Are you bored of your winter wardrobe like us and in desperate need of some fash-spiration? Then look no further than the off-duty model street style from New York Fashion Week, as NY has been covered in rain, snow and ice this week. Not so great for trying out Spring's hottest trends and posing in stilettos.
So what have the gals been wearing to tackle the extreme weather? As NY is drawing to a close it's the perfect time to assess the model street style. The girls have been keeping cosy in parkas, fur and beanies when dashing between the shows, but they added a touch of excitement to their outfits with bright, electric colours.
We love the block red trousers, powder blue jeans and deep red fur we spied on the NY streets. But if you're not brave enough to wear look-at-me block colour just yet, then copy the models that went for stand out accessories. We love the yellow socks paired with a black maxi, the lime green oversized bag and pillar-box red beanie we spied on our way in and out of the shows. Top marks go to Hanne Gaby Odiele who brightened up a classic parka with a hot pink collar. And of course when in doubt, just add a flash of bright lippie.
Speaking of New York Fashion Week inspiration why not check out our exclusive fashion week photo diary by Atlanta de Cadenet-Taylor? Or see how the model style matches up to those perched on the Front Row.
But the question is how will the girls shake up their style for London? Let's hope they are doing some intense outfit planning on their plane journey over ce soir.
