Rita has gone from beanie babe to fashionista (@ritaora)
All together now..."RIP to the girl she used to be, because baby she's over, she's OVERRRR!" (There’s nothing like kicking off with a group sing-song at the start of an article!) Of late Rita Ora's uniform of beanie hats, short shorts and her unique approach to urban lux has been replaced by Rita, part two: The fashora. The wardrobe goes from whacky to womanly, the fur levels are in free fall and the designers are more distinguished. Even if the Rita of the past met the Rita of the present day I am not sure even they would recognise each other, such are the levels of transformation! Exactly why has the Rita wardrobe evolved so much I hear you cry? Well here are the five reasons behind her style spring clean...
1. Calvin Harris has made her 'into a woman'

Rits has gone on record saying that dating Calvin Harris has turned her into a woman! Well I say! Ever since Rita started her relationship with the DJ stroke general hit maker, the singer’s wardrobe has definitely taken a womanly turn. Gone are the graffiti jackets and the emblazoned beanie caps and instead her red carpet attire consists of slashed dresses and glamorous gowns which emphasise her figure. Even when her dressing takes on a turn towards a more directional dress decision, such as her fabulous floral Marni moment this week, her sexuality isn’t totally thrown to the clothing curb.
2. The super stylists
The NYC Rita Ora take over has been a wardrobe whirlwind (@ritaora/@jasonrembert)
Rita has been working with her London based stylist, Kyle De’Volle since the beginning but it’s her US stylist who is fully putting his foot down on the attire accelerator. The promo for her latest single, I Will Never Let You Down has taken the Ora across the pond and the super stylist, Jason Rembert has used every appearance be it on screen or just getting from a to b as an opportunity to let the fashion flow. The looks have been so varied it's like taking a dip into a sartorial swimming pool with multiple trends swirled around by multiple clothing currents. Its a wardobe whirlwind people. From major Marni moments to Tommy Hilfiger surf girl looks there has certainly been plenty to praise whilst darting from one trend to another. We are exhausted just looking at it.
3. Fashionable friends
Moschino's Jeremy Scott is making sure Rita doesn't forget her love for urban style (@ritaora)
The singer’s phone must be filled to the brim with designer contacts now. Rita not only has a DKNY campaign under her belt she has been snapped by Karl Lagerfeld himself and is also besties with the latest designer at Moschino, Jeremy Scott. The pair have been spotted hanging out at Coachella and in New York after Rita made a special appearance on the catwalk for the designer’s debut collection during Milan fashion week. Mr Scott is certainly making sure Rita doesn’t lose complete touch with her former urban ways as according to her Instagram account he is keeping her well stocked in sporty numbers. With this number of high profile designers on speed dial, a girl’s wardrobe is always going to be onto a winner isn’t it!
4. The Chop
Rita took to instagram to show off her new barnett (@ritaora)
Rita Ora’s hair has a life of its own, one minute her mane consists of long braids and the next it’s all chopped off and slicked back. However her most consistent style ATM is one seriously sassy crop which acts as the perfect accessory to her clothing choices. That isn't the only part of Rita's style getting the chop. The singer also appears to have shed her MR T approach to accessorising, aside from her blingtastic video, the glamorous girl now favours cutting edge diamonds in simple band rings. Laters goldie looking chain!
5.The designer eye

Rita may enlist the help of two super stylists but we are not dealing with a wardrobe wallflower here! Testament to this, is the fact Adidas have just employed the singer to design a collection for the sportswear brand. Its due for release later this year and after getting into the designer zone it appears she has greater clothing clarity with a healthy dose of experimentation to boot when it comes to her dressing decisions.
