Welcome back to the red carpet Emma Stone! (Getty)

Emma Stone has well and truly made her presence felt on the promo tour for The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro trumping each major style statement with another! With the help of a leather Lanvin number and a glorious yellow Versace gown Emma has wowed at every turn and here are the secrets behind her red carpet return….

A Wardrobe Metamorphosis

As Julie Andrews once said, let’s start at the beginning as it’s a very good place to start and BOY did our girl crush of the moment return with an out of this world wonder, yes we are talking about that yellow Versace number. The floor length gown with its fine pleats was the perfect complement to the red haired ravens locks tousled into a do which could have been straight out of the golden era of Hollywood! How does one follow such a major moment? By going for something completely different, and that is exactly what Emma did for the Paris premiere of the film where she appeared in a fresh off the runway autumn/winter 2014 Lanvin leather dress. Hello Matrix moment! Clearly the actress has picked up some tips on metamorphosis from her time on the Spider-man set and let’s hope the ever evolving Emma will continue to surprise us.

Snazzy Suits

Emma has punctuated her red carpet looks with a series of suits and terrific tailored separates, just to keep the fashion pace fluctuating! For the very first photo call for the film in Los Angeles Stone donned a Band of Outsiders ensemble and was next seen in tailored separates when she took the promo tour onto Tokyo where she appeared in a vibrant Roland Mouret look. However it was the Saint Laurent double breasted grey suit at the London photo call which gave our heart a fashion flutter! #checkmate

A Sassy Stylist

The fashion brains behind Operation: Emma ‘Snazzy’ Stone is the stylist Petra Flannery. Petra was named the second most powerful stylist by The Hollywood Reporter this year, not only for her work with Emma but also with Amy Adams, Clare Danes and Zoe Saldana. The stylist is not one to play it safe as the constant change up with Emma’s wardrobe shows and perhaps the new boyish injection is down to Petra who has gone on record stating, ‘I quite like a boyish feel in clothes- a la Celine.’

Gorgeously Auburn Locks

Emma Stone’s locks have gone through quite the transformation during its time in the spotlight. We have gone from red to blonde and back to red and at the moment her red raven locks have been acting as the perfect finishing touch to her looks. The barnet has gone from slick straight to plaits and wardrobe winning waves on the promo tour so far.

And A Few Finishing Touches

Is Andrew Garfield the best accessory ever? (Getty)

When you have Andrew Garfield on your arm there can’t be much wrong with the world! Everyone’s favourite geeky crush has provided the perfect piece of consistent arm candy to Emma’s ever evolving looks. Aside from Andy Emma’s typically pared down looks have been given accents of sass via the OTM diamond ear cuffs, embroidered shoes, dominatrix heels and even a feathered bib courtesy of Valentino.

So What’s Next?

From left: Could Emma don Dior, have a Marios Schwab moment or be a vision in Valentino? (Getty)

It’s pretty hard to predict what Emma will wear next but we are yet to see the actress in her signature colour, red, so let’s keep those fash fingers crossed for a floor length Valentino number. If the actress wants to dress a-la dominatrix again perhaps she will slip into a Marios Schwab gown and in yellow is still tickling her taste buds maybe the daring Dior dress above will be picked? Time will tell…
