Inside The Katie Grand For Hogan Party: Cara Delevingne, Georgia Jagger & Grazia Hit Milan Fashion Week

21 February 2013 by

Crashing the MFW schedule with the week’s most raucous soiree, Katie Grand and her posse of fash-pack friends got the party started Brit-style last night. To launch her second 'Gang' accessories collection for Italian luxury brand Hogan, Ms Grand threw an almighty bash in a palatial privately owned mansion in the fashion capital. The shindig came complete with a margarita fountain and a ‘Model Paddock’ where we found Cara Delevingne hanging with her own gang of preternatural beauties – think Georgia May Jagger, Abbey Clancy and Tallulah Harlech. Of course each and every one of Katie’s model mates was clad in pieces from her brand new collaboration for Hogan, set to drop in store in July.

“The party was wild but luckily there was no damage to any property because it was a friend of a friend’s apartment,” Katie told GraziaDaily. We spotted countless faces from the London fashion scene including Giles Deacon, Luella Bartley, Katie Hillier and Nicholas Kirkwood amongst the revellers. “It was great that everyone made it – everyone except Jonathan (Saunders) who missed his flight!” explained Katie.

And what of the collection? You’ll be pleased to hear that KG’s poppy aesthetic hasn’t gone anywhere, with her signature off-kilter palette and heart motifs featuring strongly in the line. There are cute sneakers in zebra printed ponyskin, a ‘tap shoe’ and a hit weekender on wheels – which everyone at the party was desperate to sneak into their party bag. As we chowed down on our heart shaped cheese and ham toasties – who needs canapés? – we felt the Brit love surrounding us. Of course that might just have been the margarita fountain doing its work!
