Eat an entire tub of Haagen Daz and erm, kind of regret that too? Yes, that’s what our break-ups look like too. But Taylor Swift? She’s a more organised species than us and when she’s nursing a broken heart, along with writing an amazingly angry heartbroken anthem, she also dabbles in some sartorial revenge.

Since breaking up with Harry Styles, Taylor is showing the world that they are never ever getting back together with a wardrobe revamp, ditching her last season love of Stepford-style ladylike frocks and instead opting for maximum sex-appeal. How does she do it? For TayTay, it’s all about the cleavage. Ditching her saccharine sweet high-neckline tea dresses of last summer when she was smooching the Kennedy boy, she’s now pulling out the big guns, for want of a better expression. Yes, in recent weeks, she's been employing don’t-you-wish-you-had-me-now plunging necklines with aplomb.

You’ll remember at the People’s Choice awards she bared her amble assets in a Ralph Lauren Collection gown. And then there was that controversial Donna Karan Atelier back-baring gown at the Golden Globe Awards when the country crooner displayed a subtle touch of side boob. Is that really Swifty? we gasped in surprise.

Yes, this is a whole new Taylor transformation. She's learnt how to made the most of her gorgeous figure as was seen showing it off in a plunge front Kaufman Franco mini dress teamed with fierce heels that we'd more likely see in J-Lo's wardrobe.

But the real question is: does her revenge dressing work? Is a certain Mr Styles taking note? We presume with a veritable barrage of female One Direction fans avalanching towards him at every moment, he hasn’t quite caught the subtle message Swift has been sending him - but with the duo set to reunite at the NJR Awards next week, let's just say: watch this space.
