Oh how we love to shop and last night we got to do just that in trendy East London where frockdrop.com hosted a party to celebrate the opening of it’s first pop up shop. Run by Sharon Ozbek you can get some amazing vintage designer pieces for a fraction of their original price. We know!
From New York to London to Milan and LA Sharon sources her clothing from all around the world and stocks amazing finds from Chanel to Burberry and Prada. We practically fell in love with a pair of gorgeous Fendi mary-janes last night. Sharon first started out selling everything on ebay but will soon launch her very own website.
Whilst at the party we got chatting to Suki Waterhouse, the ‘unofficial’ (and gorgeous) face of the brand. She said, ‘Number one I love Frockdrop because it’s owned by one of my best friend’s Mums. I always go round to her house and we have massive trying on sessions which is always fun. They have the dream backlog of vintage clothing.’
Suki went on to describe her shopping style which is not dissimilar to our own, ‘I like to dedicate a day to have an intense sort through, I’m like an animal hunting.’ On her first ever vintage buy she said, ‘The first thing I ever bought with any money I ever made was a Sonia Rykiel long black jacket. I wore it so much that it’s now not actually a jacket anymore it’s in pieces I’ve got them in a bag like four different pieces.’ We’re a dab hand with a needle and thread if you want us to help you put it back together Suki!
If you want to go and check out the frockdrop.com wares you better be quick, the pop up is only open for a week and is full of AMAZING bargains. Head to 68 Scalter Street, E16HR.
