Suki Waterhouse On Hitting The Burberry Catwalk: 'It's A Dream Come True'

Today we went backstage at Burberry Prorsum's Autumn Winter 2014 presentation and while we were excited to chat to all the Burberry girls, there was one in particular who captured our attention. When Hollywood star Bradley Cooper arrived at the Serpentine to sit on the front row we knew that meant his 22-year-old girlfriend Suki Waterhouse would be walking in the show.

Suki became the face of the brand's Brit Rhythm campaign last year and with her acting and modelling career (and relationship with Cooper) going from strength to strength it feels like she's got the fashion world at her feet. We chatted to the catwalker backstage after the show to find out how she's feeling after her Prorsum debut...

Grazia Daily: What was it like walking in the Burberry show?

Suki Waterhouse: Crazy, really exciting and nerve-wracking. I kind of want to do it again now.

Grazia Daily: And we love the outfit you wore...

Suki Waterhouse: It's gorgeous. And I didn't even realise they had our initials on them until just now!

Grazia Daily: How did you prep for the show beforehand?

Suki Waterhouse: I didn't find out until really recently, you don't always know. So there wasn't much time to prepare.

Grazia Daily: What was it like having Bradley watch from the front row?

Suki Waterhouse: Umm... [Suki makes it clear she doesn't want to talk about Cooper].

Grazia Daily: So what's it like being a Burberry girl?

Suki Waterhouse: A dream come true. I know it sounds cheesy, but it was always what I wanted to do from the start.

Grazia Daily: Is it fun being backstage with the other models?

Suki Waterhouse: It's all so calm backstage. I love everyone here. I love Christopher Bailey, I love Neil Moodie, I love Wendy Rowe - I love all the hair and makeup people. Because it's such a high standard everyone's very relaxed.

Grazia Daily: And finally, how did it feel walking while Paloma Faith was singing?

Suki Waterhouse: It was very atmospheric.

Thanks Suki! See the star's style hits in the gallery below...
