Dance with Saint Laurent
To launch their new line of ballerina shoes, DANCE, Hedi Slimane has shot his first films for Saint Laurent with models slash ballerinas Lida Fox and Gracie Van Gastel pirouetting in SL pumps. Forget pink tights and leg warmers, Lida hits the barre with in leather, a bandeau and a boyfriend shirt. A tight ballerina bun wouldn't work with Saint Laurent's grunge-tastic Autumn 2013 collection, so she sports wild hangover hair. We're very impressed that Lida can do a Fouetté En Tournant (Google it, this move requires serious flexibility) in tight leather trews. We might not be the next Darcy Bussell, but Hedi has inspired us to slip on some ballet shoes and have a twirl ourselves. Oh and the soundtrack, Trick or Treat Dancefloor by Cherry Glazerr, is one to be downloaded immediately.
Gap is bluer than ever
Gap are going ‘Back to Blue’ with their Autumn Winter collection. Master effortless layering with their rich, indigo denim and sweaters and chambray shirts. The women’s collection includes their must-have denim such as 1969 Legging Jean, Sexy Boyfriend and Always Skinny. The menswear is also focused on classic signature fits and modern basics. With fashion week just around the corner, Grazia have teamed up with Gap to throw a special event tonight at the Oxford Street store where Girls' costume designer Jenn Rogien will talk to Grazia’s executive fashion and beauty director Charlie Miller. They will natter about how she uses Gap in her costume design – as well as letting us all in on the secret to finding the perfect-fit jeans, and picking out her key pieces from Gap’s autumn/winter 2013 Back To Blue Collection.

Kate Moss hits the National Portrait Gallery
Here at Grazia Towers we are real Kate Moss geeks and have an encyclopedic knowledge of the Mossy archive. So we were a liiiitle bit excited when we heard that never-seen-before portraits of Kate Moss and Mick Jagger will show at the National Portrait Gallery as part of a retrospective of David Bailey. Featuring over 250 images by the renowned fashion photographer, Hugo Boss sponsored Bailey’s Stardust, is his biggest ever exhibition. It will be displayed by theme, showcasing a mix of Bailey’s iconic work and lesser-known portraits. As expected, there will be iconic portraits of the likes of The Rolling Stones alongside a leggy Jerry Hall, but there will also be snaps from his travels to Papua New Guinea and poignant imagery of the famine in East Africa. Unfortunately we have to wait to see his career-spanning exhibition until 6th February, but we’ve got these pictures to keep us going till then.
