Jennifer Lawrence revealed her cinematic crushes to W Magazine, from Bill Murray to the Lawrence brothers. Her ultimate crush is Mia Farrow, who is also her hair-spiration. She said: 'Whenever I start feeling like a boy, I just tell myself I look like Mia Farrow, and I’m like, ‘O.K.'
Fashion's bright young things: Meet the finalists of H&M Design Award 2014
This week H&M announced the eight finalists of the H&M Design Awards, who have been selected from design schools. The finalists each won €5,000 and will present their work to a grand jury, who will decide the overall winner. The winner will receive €50,000 and the chance to show the winning collection at Mercedes-Benz Stockholm Fashion Week in January. Cool huh? That's not all as a number of their pieces will also be sold in H&M. So who makes the decision? Well the jury includes designer Erdem, actress Michelle Dockery, style expert Michelle Harper, Executive Fashion Editor of Vogue UK Serena Hood, Senior Fashion Editor of Vogue Italy Sara Maino, as well as H&M’s Creative Head of Design Ann-Sofie Johansson, and H&M’s Creative Advisor Margareta van den Bosch. Adidas x Opening Ceremony
Adidas Originals and Opening Ceremony are back for a fourth season, with 51 pieces focusing on baseball and taekwondo. The colleciton includes collegiate baseball jerseys, sports-inspired buttons and leather varsity jackets. There's a body-hugging dress reminiscent of a baseball glove. Seriously. As for the Taekwondo pieces, there are quilted belts and patterns found on taekwondo socks. As for the kicks, we're sure you've heard by now that Adidas are bringing back its classics. The Stan Smith returns as a high top, with the signature baseball glove stitching. The Adidas Originals x Opening Ceremony capsule collection will be available from January.
Loewe's acid collection gives us a fashion high

Looking for a winter pick me up? Well Loewe have given several of their iconic bags, including the Amazona and Dunas, an acid makeover. The vibrant bags come in highlighter orange, yellow, grene, blue and magenta - the perfect way to give grey January the finger. The symbol of the collection is a peacock, which is not only a colourful creature, but an important part of Loewe’s visual heritage, as Creative Director Perez de Rozas used to use the peacock as a central theme off all Loewe store Windows. To celebrate the arrival of the acid collection, the peacock - created by the Atelier in Madrid - will take centre stage in all Loewe windows throughout January and February.
Fam Ivroll pops up at Topshop
Planning on shopping your way through the winter blues? Well head to Topshop's Oxford Circus flagship where Fam Ivroll has set up a pop up with 10 pieces straight from the catwalk. The ecclectic cartoon-esque designs, with birds, ants and rats, in lilac and mint will be available until the 15th February. Fam is a Central St Martins Graduate and has worked as an assistant for Vivienne Westwood, Gareth Pugh and Alexander McQueen before launching her own brand ‘Fam Irvoll’ in 2009. Her designs have been worn by Lady Gaga, Paloma Faith and Rita Ora.
