As you read this the nominees, award presenters and attendees will be putting the final touches to their attire for tomorrow night’s Academy Awards.Of course with the Oscars being the biggest red carpet event of the year everyone if putting in last minute practices at the many pre parties and smaller award ceremonies.
Actress of the moment, Lupita Nyong’o has been attending events left, right and centre and even had a luncheon thrown in her honour. After wearing a number of bold coloured dresses perhaps Lupita will be in the mood for a vibrant block of colour tomorrow evening. Lupita isn’t the only one getting some special pre Oscars loving, nominee for best supporting actor and widely regarded as a shoe in for the award, Jared Leto also attended a soiree hosted in his honour. He wore a trusty brogue from Christian Louboutin for the occasion #natch and proudly showed off his red soles to the awaiting cameras. Its a dead cert he will be the best dressed gent tomorrow eve and our money is on the actor wearing a Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane.

Cate Blanchett, nominee and front runner in the leading actress category flexed her fashion prowess at the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Awards ceremony last night in a fringed Valentino Vision. Many are expecting the actress to not only be named Best actress but also best dressed at the Oscars tomorrow evening and if this dress is anything to go by Cate will not be playing it safe.
Meanwhile Cate's competition, Amy Adams was pretty in pink at the Vanity Fair American Hustle in an off the shoulder Vivienne Westwood gown. We hope after such an amazing award season for her wardrobe wise she won't drop the style baton in the final stretch, and perhaps after shedding her love for princess gowns this year we will see a sultry and sexy Amy Adams at the Academy Awards?
