It's the most high profile week of premieres in her career to date and all eyes are glued to Twilight superstar Kristen Stewart - but there's one relatively unknown designer that she's worn not once but twice this week: Zuhair Murad.
Although the Beiruit based, Lebanese designer is relatively unknown, especially this side of the pond, he's certainly not short of an A-list client or two. We're talking big names like Jennifer Lopez who has worn Murad's intricately beaded gowns at many swanky events. Most recently, J-Lo stepped out at this year's Oscar Awards wearing a neck-plunging, floor-sweeping gown, complete with sexy cut-out detailing, which hugged her curves in all the right places.
Then there's red carpet pros including Beyonce, Dita Von Teese, Blake Lively... the uber list of fans goes on. It's not surprising considering the designer's powerful mix of feminine creations that tend to be incredibly embellished and feature show-stoppingly sexy cuts, perfect red carpet fare for super-glam Hollywood sirens.
Kristen Stewart's first Zuhair Murad look
Kristen Stewart, on the other hand, isn't known for making traditional red carpet choices. The fashion rebel wears trainers with her couture and earlier this year she turned up to her friend's wedding in jeans and a simple T-shirt. K-Stew certainly has a maverick approach to fashion but it's been heading in a whole new direction lately - and that's sex bomb!
This is where Zuhair Murad comes in. His attention-grabbing designs fit Kristen's current mood perfectly and his risque ensembles have certainly paid off on the promo tour for Breaking Dawn - Part 2. First Kristen stepped out in a jaw-dropping nude lace bodice gown, accessorised with a sultry red lip, for the Los Angles premiere of the final instalment in The Twilight Saga. The very next day, Kristen hit London and chose Zuhair Murad for a second time courtesy of the raciest jumpsuit we've ever seen.
So what does the designer himself make of Kristen favouring his designs not once but twice AND two days in a row? Zuhair Murad exclusively told Grazia Daily: 'Despite the fact that I often dress up celebrities, the feeling of satisfaction when I see my designs on one of them never gets old. Nevertheless you can image my pride when I saw two of my designs on one of the most watched ladies in Hollywood.' Hats of to that, sir!
