Over in the winter wonderland that is New York we have noticed a lot of testosterone on the fashion week front row which we are, of course, enjoying! We love a good group of fash-fellas after all!
The spot which made us double take was definitely the appearance of Benedict Cumberbatch. Cementing his transformation from public school boy to fashion power player, Sherlock attended Jason Wu’s inaugural show for BOSS Hugo Boss. Sitting alongside the likes of Gwynie, Reece Witherspoon and the powerhouse of the FROW world, Diane Kruger, Benny looked right at home in a super suave black three piece suit. #swoon!
Joining everyone’s favourite detective at the BOSS show was our new love, Scott Eastwood. The son of Clint and a text book example of an American hunk made his appearance at NYC fashion week in his Hugo Boss all black suit. A vision hot enough to melt the snow lining the city’s streets, I am sure you will agree. If that wasn’t enough eye candy for one show, Gerard Butler also attended and even managed to photo bombed the unsuspecting Benedict Cumberbatch in the process.

Of course the key male fashion players FROWed it up this week including the definition of the English gentleman, Hamish Bowels. Never one to be seen in anything but the finest tailoring, I am sure the appearance of Marc Jacobs at the Marc by Marc Jacobs in red sweatpants may have disagreed with Hamish’s taste for wearing his ‘Sunday Best’ at every given occasion. Another man who firmly believes in the art of dressing smartly, Derek Blasberg has been doing his FROW thang one preppy outfit at a time.
Naturally Andre Leon Talley isn’t one to be outdone and the former Vogue USA editor made his presence well and truly felt at the Vera Wang show decked out in fur over fur over fur. It’s the only way to wear it this season, didn’t you know?!?
