Which Fashion Designer Has The Swankiest Home: Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino or DVF?

Ever wanted to have a jolly good snoop around other peoples homes? Yes us too. And without our guilty pleasure of weekly installments of MTV Cribs, we've felt there's a definite gap in our schedule which could do with some nosy interiors fun. So what utter joy we felt today when we realised that our two great loves - snooping and fashion - have come together in Architectural Digest's brilliant fashion designer home's showcase.

From Elie Saab, Donna Karan, Valentino to Oscar de la Renta, we've got our hands on the most envy-making posh pads around. A roof terrace with lip-shaped couch? Yes please Diane von Furstenberg. And a turret? Yes Valentino you naughty boy, of course you've got one! And what a comfort to know Reed Krakoff has mountains of magazines and coffee table books covering his living room floor too, phew!

So who's crib would you want to call home? Tell us which is your favourite fashion-house below, and scroll through our gallery above to see them all!

Trendstop.com (Wed Nov 14 17:25:23 GMT 2012): What an amazing article! So interesting to get an insight into the personal lives of people who have such a profound effect on not only people within the fashion industry but a mass global consumer base too! It's lovely to be able to get a feel for what inspires these great designers and what they go home to after a day of busyness and creativity. What an especial privilege to be able to look at the late Yves Saint Laurent's Parisian apartment- it's clear to see the classic signature aesthetic of the brand threaded through the panelled wood and delicate ethnic references.
