Sarah Jessica Parker Puts Three Of Her Carrie Bradshaw Heels Up For Sale At Auction

Carrie Bradshaw was proposed to with a Manolo Blahnik shoe in the SATC movie

She was the television character, who made Manolo Blahnik a household name, and whose only form of financial savings were the shoes in her walk-in-wardrobe. Throughout all six seasons and two epic movies, Carrie Bradshaw was always a heel-aholic. We even recall watching a handful of episodes which were almost exclusively written about Carries shoes – remember when she has to take her heels off at a kid’s party and they get stolen? Or when a thief on the street in downtown Manhattan holds her up at gunpoint for her Manolos? Sheesh was a trooper.

Well now, the woman behind the character, Sarah Jessica Parker has decided to put three of her Carrie era heels up for auction, the proceeds of which will be going to LaGuardia High School for Music, Art and the Performing Arts in New York.

SJP has donated three snazzy skyscraper heels to the A-list Auction, including a pair of silver snakeskin Jonathan Kelsey lace-up gladiator sandals, a pair of tan Prada studded peep toe sling back wedges, and some classic black leather platform pumps by Dolce Vita.

Not only has the style icon worn the shoes on screen, but Ms Jessica Parker has also signed the heels – making them insanely more valuable than before.

Other famous faces are getting involved in the auction too –, Madonna, Britney, Eminem, Miley Cyrus and Ke$ha are donating shoes too, and we are ridiculously excited about Lisa Kudrow’s pink heels from Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion that are up to bidding too. There will even be a pair of boots once owned by Elvis in a Vegas show in 1969, which were donated by his friend Charlie Hodge. The auction will be open for bidding from April 24th here!
