This weekend Rita Ora jetted off to Paris, where she got splattered in Chanel and took to the streets for a midnight photoshoot with Mr Karl Lagerfeld. Thankfully we got to go on set with the duo thanks to Rita Ora's Instagram habit. The big question is could Rita have, gasp, bagged her own Chanel campaign? Rita added the hashtags #secret #surprise to her Chanelegant Instagrams, so let's try and crack this Chanel code, shall we?
Firstly she is wearing head to toe monochrome Chanel, including animal ears, horns, a white chanel jacket, a mahoosive cape and enough pearls to rival Coco Chanel's own collection. It looks like campaign worthy clobber to us. Next up, she is being photographed by Karl himself who likes to shoot major Chanel campaign, such as Tilda Swinton's Chanel Métiers d'Art Paris-Edinburgh campaign.
Rita also shared pictures from inside Karl Lagerfeld's Paris studio, which we recognised instantly thanks to those floor to ceiling bookshelves. If only we could have a Lagerfeld library card. As if we weren't excited enough by all those double Cs, in one snap Rita and Karl pose with Chanel campaign star Cara Delevingne on some scaffolding. We are praying on Chanel that the wifeys have posed together.
Rita is an obvious choice for an ad campaign as she is a regular on the front row - just last month she went to Karl's museum of Chanel at Paris Fashion Week. Karl is clearly a fan of Rita, as she was the first to wear his tartan punk collection. The house of Chanel also has a weakness for an it Brit, as Lily Allen, Cara Delevingne and Alice Dellal have all bagged their own campaigns. Keep those fingers crossed peeps.
Rita is earning her fashion stripes as just last week she shot her first campaign with Rimmel London and has an ab-tastic campaign with DKNY - she also skipped down the catwalk for Donna at New York Fashion Week. This flexible fashionista can do 90s streetwear in beanies and crop tops, but is also at home in body-skimming Versace or McQueen on the red carpet. Rita knows no fashion bounds, as she isn't afraid of a daring colour clash or an unlikely mix - just last week she braved triple tartan. See Rita's style evolution in the gallery below...
