We're used to seeing Rita Ora in beanies, hoodies and lotsa denim in her music videos, but for her new single Radioactive, the singer's gone uber high fashion as she spins around in an arm chair wearing a rather directional dress from Mugler's Autumn Winter 2012 collection. The look fabulously structured with a bat wing cape, a peplum AND a risque triangular slit at the front.
It's just more proof that Rita is fast becoming a fashion heavyweight, which is why we named her one to watch for 2013. She wowed the fashpack in a Vivienne Westwood gown at the British Fashion Awards, has taken over from Alexa Chung as the face of Superga AND she's best mates with model-of-the-moment, Cara Delevingne.
But one of the greatest coups is surely becoming Nicola Formichetti's new muse. The Mugler designer has a talent for spotting the hottest fashion icons in the music industry. Last year, it was all about Azealia Banks who he styled for her video Liquorice and, of course, he's long been Team Gaga, asking the Lady to walk in his runway show before designing a bag in honour of her bottom. So although Mr Formichetti didn't style Rita's video, bagging one of his creations is surely a step in the right direction.
When we asked Nicola for his thoughts on our Ora, he said: 'Rita Ora is one to watch out for. She's strong, sexy and powerful. The perfect Mugler woman.' We couldn't agree more. Check her out in action below...
