There have been rumours galore that a certain Cara Delevingne and 'wifey' Rita Ora have fallen out, but what better way to rubbish the whispers than a girly tattoo and bonding sesh? Okay, so the duo may not have gotten matching tats, but they each added to their ever increasing ink collection, lending the other some much needed moral support as they held hands during the process.
While in the Big Apple for New York Fashion Week, the duo visited famed tatoo artist Bang Bang Mcurdy, who has previously worked on the likes of Chris Brown and Justin Bieber. Cara, who already has four tattoos - most recently getting "Made In England" tattooed on the bottom of her foot a la Barbie - chose to ink the name of her mother Pandora on her left arm this time around. Rita went for a slightly different (and most probably way more painful) approach, asking the artist to tattoo a huge drawing of an Alberto Vargas pinup girl over her right ribcage.
Bang Bang confirmed our speculation that the tattoo was a difficult one, saying that it took five hours (!!) and was the most detailed they had ever done for a celebrity. It was evidently worth it for the 'Radioactive' singer, though, who posted a photo of the tattoo alongside the caption: "Say hello to my new little friend Rosetta... thank you @bangbangnyc she's beautiful."
Cara was by Rita's side throughout, and even pulled out a giant hamburger outfit from her bag mid-session to cheer up her pal: "She just pulled it out of her purse, put it on and was like, "just me and my hamburger, what, what!" Bang told E! News. "She's hilarious. She's genuinely fun, one of my favourite people." Her love for the food goes beyond the outfits though, with the tatoo artist further revealing that the superstar model is keen to get a tattoo of her favourite food.
Oh, dear! That could almost be as wrong as Chezza's latest addition.
