It's the show we've all been waiting for and tonight, the Rihanna for River Island extravanganza comes to London Fashion Week. Yes, the superstar singer is set to storm the catwalk schedule with an army of top models to present her first-ever fashion collection at The Sorting Office on New Oxford Street followed by a glitzy after-party.
Rihanna hooked up with the high-street hero, along with her costume designer Adam Selman and stylist Mel Ottenberg, to create the collection and we couldn't be more excited that she's chosen a Brit brand to debut her designing skills. Brillaintly, to whet our appetite, Grazia Daily has an exclusive first look at the star doing her designing thang.
The behind-the-scenes shots in the gallery above give us a taster of what's to come tonight - so expect a laid-back collection of urban street classics and accessible staples. Think leather caps, sporty bombers, Nineties denim, spaghetti-strap slip dresses and lots of monochrome.
Mario Sorrenti has already shot the campaign for the collection, for which RiRi recruited some of the world’s top models, including Brit girl Jourdan Dunn [above left] and pink-haired cutie Charlotte Free. Will the models walk the runway this evening? Not long till we find out now, folks.
