Rihanna Channels Coco Chanel At The Late Designer's Parisian Apartment And Meets Her Hero, The Legendary Azzedine Alaia

If you were compiling a style bucket list, a tour of Coco Chanel‘s apartment at 31 Rue Cambon would surely be at number 1. Lucky Rihanna got the chance to realise every girl's fashion fantasy yesterday when she was handed the keys to the chic Parisian residence and allowed free reign to explore and recreate iconic shots of the designer herself with the assistance of Chanel’s costume jewelry and accessories designer Laetitia Crahay.

After a day of shopping at Chanel in Paris, the singer was gifted a lego-box purse from the Spring Summer 2013 collection before being offered the opportunity of a lifetime to visit the birthplace of the French fashion house. Wearing an all-white ensemble including gold Chanel creepers, white Chanel sunglasses and layered Chanel pearl brooches, RiRi lounged on Coco's staircase and reclined on her sofa tweeting, "Replicating a #Coco moment".

Unsurprisingly the singer was like a kid in a candy shop, soaking up a history lesson from Chanel staff and performing a fitting of her River Island collection in the same space Coco would have made alterations to her own designs.

Rihanna left the house with all manner of Chanel goodies in three bags featuring the brand's interlocking 'C' logo - cue waves envy across Instagram.

If that wasn't enough, RiRi's day of Parisian fashion fun continued when she sat down for dinner with the legendary Azzedine Alaia. The singer is seen talking intimately with the designer before being granted access behind the scenes at his showroom. She posted a photo of herself with a companion and said, "He took us to his showroom!!! #Alaia #afterhours #thatshowweballout #HowParisIsDone #ItsABajanThing #weknowwhyyoumadoverthurr".

The Barbadian singer isn't the first star to do a Coco. Last year Victoria Beckham tweeted photos during a shoot with Karl Lagerfeld, but where as VB remained professional, it looks like Rihanna made herself quite at home.
