Jack Wills, the collegiate British brand responsible for floppy-haired boys wearing gilets, is about to have a major style overhaul. The unlikely fashion news of the day is that it-Brit designer Richard Nicoll will be the creative director of JW. We would never ever have guessed that these two would join forces but it's pretty exciting, eh?

A press release just landed in Grazia Daily's inbox which reads: 'The award-winning designer will lead the next phase of Jack Wills’ development as a global fashion and accessories brand, influenced by the timeless values of British design.' Richard Nicoll is a Grazia fave, as his modern tailoring, playful textures and sports chic aesthetic is always a highlight in our LFW schedule.

Richard Nicoll said of his new gig: 'I’m excited to be working with Jack Wills, this is an opportunity to take a successful British design aesthetic and drive forward the product and vision. Wendy has exciting plans to evolve the Jack Wills brand and I am looking forward to being a part of that.' This isn't the first time he has teamed up with other brands, as he has also worked with Cerruti, Louis Vuitton, Topshop and Fred Perry. So what can we expect from this collab'? Here are our five predictions...

1. You'll find something blue...

2. The gilet? Nah it's all about the bomber...

3. He will create the coolest prep knits around...

4. Jack Wills will give good coat...

5. You'll be able to wear trainers and flats with everything...
