So Andy Murray won Wimbledon and Kate Middleton is still pregnant, but believe it or not there was other news happening this week. Check out our round up of the top five things you might have missed this week...
It was the week that...
1. Lena Dunham declared her love for Carey
We had a sneak peek of season 2 of Girls and found out that when Lena hacks off her hair in the finale she is attempting a Carey cut. Lena says 'She’s the cutest person living in the US or UK.' We also learnt that the chocolate box series ending was kinda a joke and Lena snorted B-12 Vitamin in the cocaine episode (also known as the one where Hannah wears a neon string vest).
2. We became obsessed with Bradley and Gerard's bromance
Andy Murray was crowned Wimbledon champion, Victoria Beckham wore a nightie and Kim Sears gave good hair. But we will always remember the 2013 Wimbledon final as the day Bradley Cooper and Gerard Butler started their bromance. They wore matching suits, they took selfies, they had bear hugs.... We're sure we'll get over them eventually, but not for a very long time.
3. We remembered Princess Diana's style risks
A new documentary will be aired on Channel 4 this Tuesday which will give the stories behind Princess Diana's dresses, exploring her journey from a shy young ingénue to a catwalk leader. It'll be a nice tea break from Royal Baby natter, no?
4. Anna Dello Russo wore a boat on her head
Trust ADR to out Marie Antoinette, Marie Antoinette. Coco Chanel says take one thing off, Anna says add on ten. Guests pulled up at the Dolce & Gabbana masked ball in boats, but that's not enough drama for our Anna. She arrived with a boat on her head. Listen to us Ms Russo, don't you ever ever change.
5. There was a hot new model in town
You might not know the name Sam Rollinson yet, but this girl is gonna be big. She has worked with J Brand and Burberry and just bagged a Kurt Geiger campaign. We have rounded up everything you need to know about Sam, from her love of apple crumble to philosophy.
Most buzzed about this week...
Once again the folk at EDITD have done some number crunching to work out what is the most buzzed about thing on the world wide web this week. It's hardly a shocker that #summer is the most talked about thing online thanks to our heatwave.
